Why We Exist: The Problem
In many underserved communities across Africa, oral disease is a devastating public health crisis, often mischaracterized as a minor issue.

Impact on Children
For children, the visible effects of decay and tooth loss cause a profound erosion of self-esteem and confidence, creating social barriers that limit educational attainment. Chronic, debilitating pain results in millions of lost school hours.
Impact on Women
The consequences extend beyond the mouth: untreated infections in women are critical, given the profound link between hormonal changes and heightened susceptibility to oral health risks. These risks translate directly into an increased prevalence of adverse pregnancy outcomes, including pre-term birth and low birth weight babies.
This continuous cycle of pain, economic impairment, and psychological toll demands a community-driven, sustainable response.
